Are You Always Feeling Hungry?

If you're always feeling hungry no matter what time of the day is, maybe you should find a new approach to breakfast.

A lot of nutritionist and doctors will always tell you that to achieve the maximum results throughout your day, you have to eat a well balanced healthy breakfast. Isn't that right? Well breakfast has been touted as the most important meal of the day.

Now the question really comes down to you, whether to continue eating what you're eating or to change it up a bit.

Breakfast should be eaten when you're hungry not necessarily the second you wake up and get out of bed. 

WHENEVER YOU EAT MAKE SURE ITS HEALTHY

Beyond the timing of the meal, you have to consider what you're eating first. Children under the age of 18 years old performed better in school when they've consumed a healthy breakfast. Feeding your kids a fiber packed bowl of oatmeal and or eggs and whole wheat toast before school is critical. Opt for protein, and or fiber rich options such as greek yogurt, eggs, avocado toast or a spoon full of peanut butter.

RE-FRAME THE IDEA OF SET TIME MEALS

The mindset expands the possibility for breakfast to include more than just breakfast foods. For example: consider starting with a fresh hot bowl of soup, some kind of filling meat you may sometimes find satisfying as the day gets colder and also, let's be honest, there's nothing quite like having breakfast for dinner.

For many people, relabeling breakfast instead as meal 1 might take some pressure off and help you achieve and maintain your personal health goals. Try to rethink the notion of breakfast, lunch or dinner instead of meal 1,2,3.

WATCHOUT FOR HUNGER SIGNALS

When waking up, breakfast is breaking the fast of many hours since dinner, there is a concern that if you go too long without food, you may overeat at your next snack or meal. You can avoid this by having some healthy snacks ready once that hunger urge arrives. This is also the case of why eating every 2-4 hours is super important.
